Must Haves

  • In-depth technical knowledge of AV systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively across sales and operations.

  • Experience using quoting/project management systems.
  • Knowledge of AV industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Background in tender response preparation and bid support.
  • Experience delivering training or knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Previous role in a high-value project environment (e.g., events, installations, live productions).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing detailed, accurate, and timely quotations for bespoke and contractual AV projects, covering equipment, crew, logistics, and commercial goals.
  • Working closely with the sales team in early-stage project scoping for high-value or complex projects.
  • Attending technical briefings and client meetings to clarify scope, upsell alternatives, and support deal conversion.
  • Preparing tiered/flexible pricing models to match budgets and encourage upselling.
  • Assisting with tender responses, including technical summaries, kit justifications, and alternative solutions.
  • Supporting the handover to operations with drawings, timelines, and clear scope documentation.
  • Participating in project debriefs to compare estimated vs. actual costs, improving future quoting accuracy.
  • Managing and optimising the quoting system, ensuring clean data and best practices.
  • Running knowledge-sharing sessions for the sales team on technology, kit capabilities, and quoting logic.
  • Staying ahead of AV trends, new products, and supplier developments to inform accurate pricing.
