We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team. You'll manage a varied caseload of around 18 children, including CIN, CP, and CIC cases, and deliver effective, evidence-based interventions that truly impact lives.

Key Details:

  • Location: Tewkesbury Social Care Locality Office, GL20 5TT
  • Contract: 6-month assignment (Dec 2025 - May 2026)
  • Rate: 42 per hour
  • Start Date: 1 December 2025
  • Working Pattern: Office-based 3 days per week, flexible/home working considered

What You'll Do:

  • Hold a mixed caseload including court work
  • Ensure timely, high-quality interventions for children and families
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
  • Maintain face-to-face contact with children (except in confirmed COVID cases)

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Strong experience in child protection, care planning, and court work
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
