Job Title: Finishing Foreman
We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Finishing Foreman to oversee the final stages of construction works on site. You will ensure all finishing trades deliver high-quality workmanship, maintain programme deadlines, and achieve a polished, snag-free handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all finishing trades including joinery, plastering, decorating, flooring, and final fix.
- Drive the completion of snagging works, maintaining an up-to-date snag list.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all works meet required standards and specifications.
- Monitor progress against programme and report issues to the Site/Project Manager.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Resolve on-site problems promptly to avoid delays in handover.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised finishing environment.
About You
- Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman / Finishing Supervisor in construction.
- Strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain productivity on site.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confident in reading drawings and understanding project specifications.
- CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
