Our client based in Tewkesbury, who is a specialist within their sector, is currently recruiting a Finance and Office Assistant to join their close-knit team on a full-time basis.

Whilst finance will be your core focus, this is a multifaceted role, so the ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude and willingness to get 'stuck in' to support the wider team to ultimately contribute to the efficiency and growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

-Managing sales and purchase ledgers

-Monitoring credit control and costs

-Assisting with bi-weekly payment runs and cash flow tracking

-Support preparation VAT returns, management accounts and year-end statutory filings

-Maintain accurate stock and asset registers

-Assist in onboarding suppliers and subcontractors

-Log outgoing tenders and client purchase orders to support billing accuracy

-Act as the primary liaison with external IT support services

-Manage employee records and employment documentation

-Provide general administrative support and ensure accurate record keeping

-Support adherence to company policies and operational procedures

Attributes:

-Previous experience in a similar role

-Strong attention to detail

-Confident working collaboratively across departments

-Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Hours - Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 3pm

Salary - £28,000
