Labourer / Second Ops

We are currently recruiting for a Labourer for our client based in Tewkesbury. 

• Immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labouring tasks within the workshop environment.

• Carry out secondary operations on machined components such as tapping, drilling, countersinking, and deburring.

• Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

• Assist machine operators and other team members with production tasks.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

• Support warehouse and dispatch operations as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Proficiency in tapping, drilling, countersinking, and similar secondary operations.

• Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.

• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Hours of Work:

• Monday - Thursday.
• 7am - 4pm.
• Friday - 7am - 12pm 

Rate of pay:

• £12.21 per hour.
