Maths Teacher
Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a confident and committed Maths Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and supportive educational environment. The role is expected to run for two term's, starting in January 2026, with potential for extension.

- Salary: MPS/UPS - dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons across Key Stages
- Teach Maths up to GCSE level, ensuring curriculum coverage and progression
- Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Maths department
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for numeracy and problem-solving
- Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
