Are you passionate about making a difference for young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist base supporting students with Autism and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.
What You'll Do:

Support students in mainstream lessons and small-group interventions

Help overcome barriers to learning and promote independence

Facilitate social inclusion during unstructured parts of the school day

Collaborate with specialist teachers, therapists, and school staff

Create a calm, welcoming environment that supports wellbeing and learning
What You’ll Bring:

GCSEs in Maths & English (A-C grades)

Understanding of the impact of Autism and communication needs on learning

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Calm, flexible and positive attitude

Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Desirable:

Relevant experience supporting children with SEN

Additional training related to special educational needs
