Sales Leader - Water Purification Systems
Our industry-leading Water Treatment client is seeking an accomplished Sales Leader to spearhead their ambitious growth strategy in the water purification sector.
This is a pivotal position in orchestrating our client's commercial success within the Water Purification sector, developing and executing winning sales strategies and leading an established team of high-performing Business Development Managers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales leadership, strategic thinking, and team development. You'll need to demonstrate exceptional problem-solving capabilities, strong financial acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships across global teams.
Salary: Up to 70k p/a DOE + Sales Performance Bonus + Company Car
Location: Oxford area
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute winning sales strategies, aligning them with our client's broader business objectives
- Spearhead and develop an established team of a high-performing team of Business Development Managers
- Push profitable growth through strategic account management and overall development of markets
- Manage the marketing and exhibition budget to ensure optimal return on investment
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify product development opportunities
- Deliver comprehensive performance management and professional development for your team
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven sales and marketing experience within Water Purification/Treatment, with technical knowledge of water and process treatment systems
- Exceptional coaching and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Sharp analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Naturally excellent verbal and written communicator with strong presentation and relationship building skills
- Top-level negotiation skills
- An engineering background and qualifications would be desirable but not essential
