The Role:

  • Along with two Team Leaders reporting directly into you, you will manage around 40 Operatives in the production, assembly, and testing of the company's products. Duties will include:-
  • Ensuring your team deliver the production plan.
  • Monitor output, operational resource and overtime requirements.
  • Support and offer solutions to overcome issues, improve on practices and continuously improve processes.
  • Investigate NCR's and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Develop your team through skills training plans.
  • Ensure adherence to H&S.
  • Management of MRP / ERP systems.

The Candidate:

  • 3 years + in a relative Production Coordination / Management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing teams/individuals and implementation of skills training matrices.
  • Monitoring and implementation of H&S practices.
  • Understanding of Lean/ Six sigma
  • Preferred (but not essential) experience of moulding / plastics and assembly processes
  • Preferred (but not essential) experience / qualification in electrical engineering.

Hours:

Backshift - Monday to Thursday 14.30 - 23.00 / Friday 11.00 - 16.00
