Horizon Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Infant school in the London Borough of Kingston. This school holds high aspirations for every child and celebrate all levels of achievement. They promote optimism and self-belief, ambition and challenge.
About the school:
- The curriculum is inclusive, engaging and motivating for all pupils. In addition to the core teaching, the school provide a range of interventions for individuals and groups that are tailored to the needs of the children and allow teaching staff to focus on specific areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting individual children or small groups in the classroom across all core subject areas
- Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task
- Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, providing feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and behaviour
- Support the organisation of the classroom and assist with all admin tasks
- Attend and supervise students on school trips and or swimming lessons
