Junior Architectural Technician

Location: Berkshire

Salary Expectations: 26-30,000

A well-established architectural practice in Berkshire is looking to appoint a Junior Architectural Technician to join its growing team. The practice is known for its strong design ethos and technical expertise, working across a varied portfolio that includes residential, education, heritage and conservation, community and leisure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging technician to gain hands-on experience and further develop their technical skills within a supportive and collaborative studio environment. The role offers exposure to projects across all stages, from planning through to construction and completion.



Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the production of technical drawings and construction packages
  • Supporting planning and building regulation submissions
  • Coordinating design information alongside senior team members and external consultants
  • Helping to ensure projects comply with UK building regulations and standards
  • Producing drawings using CAD/BIM software
  • Attending site visits when required to gain on-site experience


The Ideal Candidate

  • Some experience within a UK architectural practice or a relevant qualification
  • A good technical foundation and an eagerness to learn
  • Experience with Revit or BIM software is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently when required
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to develop professionally
