MC Technical Recruitment is currently seeking a Mechanical Contractor Supervisor to join the maintenance team at a leading Energy from Waste (EfW) facility near Slough.

This days-based role (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) involves supervising mechanical contractors and supporting both planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.

As a Mechanical Contractor Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
• Supervising and coordinating contractors on site
• Supporting reactive and planned maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely repairs
• Training and monitoring contractors
• Carrying out inspections and risk assessments
• Updating records via the site’s CMMS
• Other duties as required

To be considered, you should have:
• A recognised mechanical qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or similar)
• Relevant experience in a process or power plant environment
• Contractor supervision and strong communication skills
• Understanding of Permit to Work systems (training provided)
• Basic IT and CMMS knowledge
