Should you be looking for your next Housing Standards assignment, one of my local authority clients based in Berkshire are currently on the search for both an experienced Housing Standards Officer and HMO Licensing Officer to join their existing housing team.

Some day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

Housing Standards Officer (45p/h):

  • Investigate into possible housing offences for breaching HHSRS.
  • Drafting and service of statutory Notices and Orders under housing legislation.
  • Carry out routine HMO inspections and respond to housing related complaint.
  • Respond to general housing complaints and service requests.

HMO Licensing Officer (35-40p/h)

  • Processing HMO license documentation, undertaking relevant checks and reading safety certificates etc.

Additional Information

Hours: 37 per week
Contract: 3 months (with a view to extend)
Start Date: ASAP
