We are working with a well-established building materials manufacturer in the Thatcham area who are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on role supporting a busy production environment with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical equipment
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability
- Maintain maintenance records and adhere to Health & Safety procedures
- Work closely with production teams to support operational efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and fault diagnosis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Health & Safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices
