Role: Environmental Protection Officer/ Senior EHO
Working Pattern: 37h Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: DOE p/h Umbrella
A local authority client of mine in the Berkshire area are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with potential view of extension.
The majority of the work will be to deal with complaints, noise and nuisance, public health complaints and planning applications.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Respond to service requests relating primarily to noise and nuisance
- Examine planning applications to identify potential environmental health issues and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Ensuring that developments promote public health.
