South East (with flexibility across the South / South West)
Up to£ 60,000 basic Commission Company Car or Car Allowance

 

A highly regarded, privately owned print and fulfilment business is seeking an experienced external Sales Manager to support the next stage of its growth.

This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity to join a profitable, stable business where external sales has historically been handled at Director level. As a result, there is significant untapped potential, particularly across the South East and wider South / South West.

The business has a strong track record of customer retention (up to 30 years), consistent growth, and continued investment in digital and large format technology. The owner remains actively involved but is looking to bring in a trusted, self-motivated sales professional who can operate autonomously and, over time, take on a broader strategic role.

 

What You’ll Be Selling

  • Large Format Printing
  • Digital Print
  • Fulfilment & Distribution Services

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of print and fulfilment clients
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell fulfilment alongside print
  • Build long-term, consultative client relationships
  • Represent the business professionally in the field
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent delivery

 

About You

  • Proven experience in print sales, ideally with Large Format
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach
  • Able to spot opportunity and build relationships, not just chase price
  • Ambitious and interested in long-term progression
  • Happy working within a small, agile business environment
