You’ll be working closely with the Sales Director and have the opportunity to travel across the UK, Europe, Asia and the US up to 25% of the time. They are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to introduce their specialist instruments to industry across the UK and Europe.

The products are patented and unique on the market, used in a variety of technical applications, so having a technical grounding is key. You will be responsible for many things, including customer liaison, presenting and conducting demos, creating quotes, and bringing in new business. The Candidate: Technical Sales Engineer

The successful candidate will be positive and confident in their ability, self-motivated, and will have most of the following skills and experience:

• Qualification in Engineering, physics or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to build rapport with people
• Driven, inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 25% of the time.
