Maintenance Supervisor

Alecto Recruitment are partnering with a leading company within the power generation sector who specialises in Waste to Energy facilities around the world. Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will implement Maintenance strategies across the EfW Plant.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Full ownership of the CMMS-from Superuser management to work packs, schedules and stock control
  • Planning, organising and monitoring all routine and preventative maintenance
  • Working with the wider team to plan plant outages in line with business needs
  • Developing and delivering a robust inspection and monitoring programme to reduce downtime and keep the plant running at optimum performance
  • Ensuring all statutory maintenance requirements are met
  • Managing a strong, forward-looking preventative maintenance schedule

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent experience
  • HSE-accredited training
  • Solid experience in EfW or similar heavy industrial maintenance-resource recovery, material handling or waste processing preferred
  • Hands-on experience building and running maintenance systems (CMMS, predictive, preventive, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills with business-level English
