We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing inventory, handling goods, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Efficiently book in and out goods while maintaining accurate records.
- Load and unload pallets and trailers, ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Maintain a computerised inventory system and reconcile discrepancies as required.
- Accurately pick orders using required product codes.
- Responsible for setting up, work preparation, and clean up of the work area.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Keep up-to-date notes on products to track changes and updates.
- Ensure the quality assurance of own work and work-area to meet the high standards expected.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse operative role or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good computer skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
