Ecologist - Thetford

We are looking for a dedicated Ecologist to join a multi-disciplinary company based near Thetford! The company is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for both private and public sector clients.

The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of ecological responsibilities, including:

- Conducting protected species and botanical surveys- Producing a variety of ecological reports, such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRAs), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs)- Liaising with clients, project managers, and stakeholders- Preparing fee proposals and contributing to project planning

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field- Proven experience in ecological surveying and habitat assessments- Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation and conservation practices- The ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- A full UK driving license is beneficial
