We're seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to manage a 70-bed nursing care service in the heart of Watton, Norfolk. This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a fully equipped, purpose-built home that is dedicated to delivering person-centred, high-quality care.

Set in a vibrant market town with strong transport links to Norwich, the home features spacious, en-suite accommodation across three beautifully decorated floors. Residents enjoy a homely environment supported by a dedicated care team-and we're looking for the right leader to guide and inspire them.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing as a Nursing Home Manager

As Nursing Home Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and delivers exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities for the Nursing Home Manager:

Lead, inspire and manage a skilled care team with a focus on compassion, dignity and respect.

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain robust clinical governance.

Manage budgets effectively and drive the commercial success of the home.

Oversee recruitment, retention and development of staff.

Promote full occupancy through strategic marketing and community engagement.

Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

Monitor performance and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure safe working practices and effective risk management throughout the home.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a large care setting.

Strong understanding of care legislation and CQC requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Commercial acumen with a proven track record in occupancy and budget control.

A passion for creating a nurturing environment where both residents and staff thrive.

NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
