Job Title: Assistant Acoustic Consultant

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 + Benefits
We're working with a respected engineering and environmental consultancy looking to recruit a dedicated Assistant Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding Thetford team. This is an excellent opportunity for an acoustics professional with around 1-2 years' experience and an IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control to advance their career in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering environmental, infrastructure, and building acoustics projects across the UK. You'll gain valuable hands-on project experience, develop your technical expertise, and work alongside experienced consultants in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities
Undertake environmental noise surveys and on-site acoustic measurements
Assist with acoustic modelling, data analysis, and design input
Prepare clear, detailed technical reports for clients and planning authorities
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders
Support senior consultants across a range of multi-disciplinary projects
About You
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline
IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control (essential)
1-2 years' experience in environmental or building acoustics
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
