Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Thetford, UK
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (rotating days and nights) 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to 51, 250 based on experience plus Overtime & Benefits
Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
  • Problem Solving: 80% reactive and 20% planned maintenance
  • CMMS Systems: Record jobs and report to the Team Leader
  • Safety & Compliance: Support electrical structure improvements and health & safety regulations
Key Skills/Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.
  • Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum
  • Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
