Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Thetford
Salary: 50,000+ (DOE) plus benefits

We are working with a well-established engineering and environmental consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant to their expanding Thetford team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acoustics specialist to take on a leadership role within a growing division, contributing to major environmental and building acoustics projects across the UK.

In this position, you will oversee the full lifecycle of complex acoustic projects, support the development of technical capability within the team, and act as a key contact for clients and stakeholders. This role offers long-term career progression, professional recognition, and the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the acoustics service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver environmental and building acoustics projects from start to finish

  • Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality technical outputs

  • Conduct site surveys, acoustic measurements, modelling and assessments

  • Prepare, review and present detailed technical reports

  • Mentor and support junior consultants

  • Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives

About You:

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental or building acoustics consultancy

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • IOA membership (MIOA or higher) is advantageous

  • Full UK driving licence required
