TRANSPORT - OFFICE MANAGER - 45,000 TO 47,000 - BASED THETFORD - START TIME BETWEEN 10AM AND 12 NOON TO BE AGREED (10 HOUR SHIFT INCLUDES ONE HOUR LUNCH)

A dynamic individual with the ability to successfully multi-task and thrive under pressure. Natural leadership qualities combined and the enthusiasm and drive to push forward and develop existing relationships with suppliers and customers.

The Role

Due to the continued growth of the business, our client are looking to recruit a new member of staff for their transport department.

Based at our depot in Norfolk this role will be reporting to the Operations Director and working alongside the Logistics Manager and the senior management team as well as supervisors from other departments when required.

Your main responsibilities will be:

O-License Maintenance & Compliance For The Commercial Fleet

Daily Route Planning Of Commercial Fleet

Vehicle Maintenance and Legal Compliance For Commercial Fleet

Maintenance Of Full Load And Groupage Transport From Saham Toney

Key Account Transport Planning And Transport

Procurement For Commercial Vehicle Replacement

Essential Requirements

Transport Management CPC

Minimum 3 Years transport experience in the FMCG sector

Good Geographical Knowledge of the UK

Working Knowledge of RTR and WTD legislation

Good Working Knowledge Of Excel/Word/Outlook

Professional Strong Communication Channels

Ability To Work Under Pressure

Experience In Multi-Drop Transport Operations

Managerial Experience In The Haulage Sector

Full UK Driving License

Class 2 HGV License
