- A leading business in Norfolk is seeking an experienced Operations professional for an interim role lasting at least 6 months.
- The position will focus on developing operational capabilities in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain as the company aims to double its turnover in the next 24 months.
- Candidates should have extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, and operations, ideally in a growing business environment, along with project management experience.
- The role requires immediate availability and the ability to work on-site in Norfolk for five days a week.
- This position could lead to a permanent role for the right applicant, with a competitive salary offered based on experience.
Having gone through a period of continued growth and success this positionwill support them as they focus on developing their operation capability acrosswarehouse, logistics and supply chain.
This will include:
* Develop a strategyfor the operational business as they build towards a doubling of turnoverin the next 24 months
* Evaluatea new potential WMS
* Analysis of businessoperations to look at efficiency'soverheadsand requirementsfor new procedures
* Evaluationof stock and purchasingpractices
* Workforce evaluation and managementas well as potentialhiring
* Management of 3PL and evaluationof alternative distributionoptions
We are looking for the following:
* Availability to start immediately.
* Due to the nature of the position and businesswe are looking for someone to work 5 days on site in Norfolk
* You will have extensive experience acrosssupply chain, logistics and operations, ideally in a growing business environment
* Project managementexperience
* FMCG, manufacturingor retail ops experience
Likely to be 6 months+ this position could lead to a permanentposition for the right applicant.
