Plant Operator - Power Station
£30,000-£32,000 + benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator, to carry out a range of operational duties across a power plant based in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established site, with future career progression opportunities within the power generation industry.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a range of machinery including Forklift Trucks, Excavators, etc.
- Performing plant inspections and checks
- Assisting the team with startups and shut downs
- Training on different control systems (SCADA, DCS)
- Maintaining a clean, safe environment at all times
- Following health & safety at all times
- Working on a 4 on / 4 off, day & night shift rota
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Process / Plant Operations experience
- Forklift truck licence
- Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field desirable
- Basic maintenance skills
