The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and project teams across a portfolio of high-quality developments. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations

  • Support senior surveyors with tendering, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration

  • Measure and assess quantities from drawings and specifications

  • Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts

  • Contribute to cost reporting, forecasting, and value engineering processes

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, design teams, and site staff to ensure commercial success

  • Maintain clear documentation and support best practice in all financial processes

Key Requirements

  • Some experience or exposure to quantity surveying within a construction environment (placement or early career experience welcomed)

  • A relevant qualification or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards one)

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail

  • Good communication and organisational abilities

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a collaborative team environment
