A-Level Subject Specialists Needed for September Start - Opportunities Across South Wales
TeacherActive is currently partnering with various Colleges and Higher Education Institutes in South Wales, seeking experienced A-Level Subject Specialists for both short-term and long-term assignments. As a specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the full A-Level curriculum, and may also work with ALN and challenging behaviour students. Your role includes lesson planning, preparation, and delivery to support students in achieving their professional qualifications. Tracking progress is crucial to ensure high standards, and you will work closely with your line manager to guide and develop students towards their qualifications.
The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching in an A-Level environment, along with a recognised teaching qualification such as DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education, or PTLLS or CTLLS. A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required, as well as a valid DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one (which we can assist with).
