We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher for a long-term cover position starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.
About the Role:
- Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher (Long-Term Cover)
- Key Stage: KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2, please specify if known, e.g., with a focus on Year 2)
- Start Date: September 2025
- Duration: Long-term, with the potential to extend (if applicable)
- Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (Term time only. part-time applications may be considered, please specify if applicable).
- Pay: Between M1-6 pro rata.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and developmental stages of young children.
- Strong knowledge of phonics.
- Familiarity with Read Write inc would be preferable.
- A passion for creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences that cater to individual needs.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to teamwork.
- A good understanding of assessment for learning and the ability to use data to inform teaching.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
