Finance Director – Strategic Growth Role | PE-Backed Consultancy

Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid/Flexible)

Salary: £70,000 + bonus

We’re working with a high-growth, private equity–backed consultancy to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director. This is a rare opportunity to join a values-led business partnering with global brands. 

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and governance
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Board to drive profitability and growth
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling
• Manage cash flow, capital structure, and banking relationships
• Support M&A activity, due diligence, and commercial decision-making
• Champion automation, digital transformation, and process improvement
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
• Experience in PE-backed, growth-focused, or scale-up environments
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Sector experience in consultancy, professional services, or creative industries
