Aspire People are recruiting for talented SEN Teaching Assistants for our schools across Thrapston and the surrounding areas with opportunities across primary, secondary, and SEN schools.

The work we can offer can range from a day's cover, to a term's cover, to cover for the whole academic year - it is up to you when and how often you work. We just ask that you are available for at least one day a week, 8.30am-3.30pm.

What will you be doing?

- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students.
- Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them to understand and engage with the curriculum.
- Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans.
- Provide classroom management support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring student progress.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents as required.

- Relevant experience.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

A Teaching Assistant qualification and prior experience working in an educational environment is desirable but not essential.
