SEN Teacher

Simply Education is looking for a SEN Teacher to work in a SEN school based in Thrapston. Our school supports KS3 and KS4 students the opportunity to learn in smaller and more supportive groups in a holistic environment. Our school offers numerous qualifications for the students including Maths, English, ICT, Science, PE, Careers and many others.

The Role:

  • Put provisions into place to support the progress of pupils with SEND to support their improvement relative to those without SEND needs
  • Coordinate and attend EHCP reviews and monitor progress internally
  • Monitor progress towards targets for students with SEND
  • Liaise with staff, parents and external agencies to provide the maximum support
  • Undertake day to day coordination of SEND pupils provisions
  • Identify clear teaching objectives and how they will be taught and assessed

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS)
  • Have experience teaching in KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident in delivering high-quality lessons and using assessment data effectively
  • Be committed to supporting pupil's well being and holistic development
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
