Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of mechanical projects. Working alongside project managers, site teams, and clients, you will ensure robust cost planning, financial control, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports
  • Monitor project progress to ensure effective cost control
  • Conduct tender analysis and support subcontractor selection
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, including final accounts
  • Identify and negotiate variations and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and internal procedures
  • Support value engineering and risk management processes

Quantity Surveyor - Desirable experience and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within mechanical or M&E projects
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills
  • Experience withJCT and NEC Contracts
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred)
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite
