Title: Customer Account Coordinator

Salary: £30,533 per annum

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm 

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire

VH Talent, has partnered with a renowned global organisation, to support with appointing a Customer Account Coordinator. This unique role will provide the opportunity to work with a number of their prestigious engineering customers, managing their accounts and ensuring orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.

The Customer Account Coordinator Role:

  • First point of contact for all internal and external customers, ensuring an excellent and efficient service is delivered
  • Accurately processing customers orders, providing complaint resolution and handling general enquiries
  • Responsible for overseeing and maintaining all activity for the customers accounts, including forecasting and compliance with Quality Standards
  • Complete all relevant sales administration in order to process orders and ensure correct information is gathered and recorded 
  • Data entry, using Microsoft Excel to keep records up to date and accurate, along with ERP data input
  • Support internal production team where / when required
  • Complete regular meetings by Teams with Key Accounts, discussing orders, progress updates and any escalated issues
  • Ensure working to personal and department objectives and KPI’s to ensure wider business goals are achieved

You’ll Need:

  • Experience of operating within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
  • Customer service skills with a proven track record of building robust relationships and operating within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent administration skills, with attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to work on multiple projects, be proactive and ensure Service Level Agreements are achieved
  • Able to follow instructions, however also able to use own initiative to drive tasks to completion and make decisions
  • Previous experience of using an ERP system(s)
  • Good problem solving skills with the ability to use own initiative to provide solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of operating within a Continuous Improvement environment is desirable
