Asset Manager

We're recruiting for an Asset Manager on behalf of a leading organisation delivering asset and lifecycle management services on a long-term public sector contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic planning and allocation of full lifecycle budget across a multi-site FM contract
  • Lead the asset management function, ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure planned lifecycle works are delivered on time and within budget
  • Monitor risk, manage change control processes, and ensure robust governance across all lifecycle activities
  • Provide technical input into lifecycle planning, investment decisions, and contract negotiations
  • Act as a key point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met
  • Prepare and present business cases and project proposals for board approval
  • Analyse asset performance data to drive investment decisions and continuous improvement
  • Support the mobilisation of new works and contract variations, ensuring alignment with FM strategy

Essential Requirements

  • Strong technical background (MRICS, CIBSE, or M&E qualified)
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing lifecycle budgets and asset strategies
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and boards
