We are currently seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Tilbury, managing various goods such as timber panel products, cocoa, and coffee sacks.
This hybrid FLT role involves operating a forklift and assisting with general warehouse duties, making teamwork essential due to the physically demanding nature of the job.
Key responsibilities include unloading containers with a counterbalance forklift, palletising heavy bags weighing up to 70kg, and maintaining a clean working environment.
Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and be comfortable with physical work, with flexibility in working days if delays occur.
The position offers a pay range of £12.50 - £13.00 or £14.20 - £14.77 including holiday pay on a weekly basis, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday.

This is a hybrid FLT role, meaning youll be required to operate the forklift and assist with general warehouse duties. Please note this is a physically demanding position sacks of food produce can weigh up to 70kg, and teamwork is essential when handling these items.

Key Duties:

Unloading containers using a counterbalance forklift
Palletising and moving heavy bags (up to 70kg) as part of a team
Supporting general warehouse tasks as needed
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Comfortable with physical work
Flexible with working days if delays occur (usually Monday to Friday)
Able to work as part of a team

Pay: £12.50 - £13.00 or £14.20 - £14.77 including holiday pay on a weekly basis
Hours: Monday to Friday ( 10:0018:00 or 06:0014:00 )
