Are you seeking an excellent work-life balance? Do you dream of being home every weekend? Our client is currently looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy team in Tilbury!

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be the face of Meyer Timber, safely delivering our timber products throughout the London area. You will ensure excellent customer service in line with our Good Driver Code. Your truck will be expertly loaded by our Warehouse Team so your day can begin with checking that the loads are secure before heading out on your route. Your responsibilities will include multi-drop deliveries, curtain pulling, securing loads, checking product paperwork, and conducting daily vehicle checks. Please note that this role may involve manual handling of our products from time to time, so you need to be comfortable with this task.

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday with no weekends or overnight stays.

Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:

  1. 2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
  2. Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
  3. Fully CPC qualified
  4. Multi-drop experience would be advantageous but not essential
  5. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
