Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Import Administrator to join our clients import team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the importation of goods, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the importation process from start to finish.
  • Ensure all import documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and track the progress of deliveries.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the import process.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all import transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Manifest data input.
  • Visiting on board ships at Tilbury and gateway sites.
  • Customs Clearance knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in import administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations and procedures.
