Location: Tilbury Docks, Essex (London and surrounding)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 per annum (LTD also available)

A leading M&E contractor is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical delivery of a major infrastructure project at Tilbury Docks in Essex. This is a long-term role, ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong coordination skills and experience managing groundworks-phase mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day supervision of mechanical trades on site

• Oversee the installation of below-ground and sitewide mechanical services

• Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and ensure adherence to H&S standards

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

• Ensure all works meet programme, spec, and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Proven background in mechanical supervision (pipefitting/HVAC)

• Experience working on infrastructure or early-stage construction

• SSSTS or SMSTS and a valid CSCS card essential

• Ability to lead teams and liaise with multiple trades

• Experience in overseeing services being put into the ground.
