Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's highways team to support on a number of projects in either their Tilbury, Cambridge or Harlow office on a permanent basis.

Our client is an industry leader within the a number of services such as Highways, Civils, Rail and Facilities Management and have worked on a large scale projects across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Quantity Surveyor in managing all contractual and commercial needs across a number of concurrent schemes at different stages.
  • Managing and identifying opportunities and risks within the contract.
  • Meeting and collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and the project team for smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as either an Trainee Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
  • Holds relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience within the Highways Sector is adventurous.
  • Be able to commute to either Tilbury, Harlow of Cambridge Offices.
  • Confident communicator and problem solver, able to work with diverse teams and contractors.
