At Axiom Personnel we are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our well-established client based in East Tilbury. Due to the location, own transport is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance – Heavy machinery/plant (grab loaders, conveyor belts etc.)
- On-going repairs
- Servicing
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Test equipment that has been repaired and complete adjustments
- Daily maintenance/safety checks
- Clean and perform other routine maintenance work
Requirements:
- Must have a good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Mechanical maintenance experience – essential
- Experience of working on heavy plant & machinery – essential
- Welding – MIG, TIG AND Stick
- Cutting with oxyacetylene
- Electrical experience - Not essential but advantageous
- Team player – must have full flexibility

This position will be working Monday-Friday, 6:30am-4:30pm, 42.5 hours worked per week after breaks.
Salary £40000 - £48000 depending on experience
