We are working with a leading UK-based engineering company specialising in the provision of high-quality metal bending, rolling, and fabrication services. As a result of internal promotion and growth they have a role for a Technical CAD Engineer, with real scope to train and develop into a Technical Sales Manager within the team
Key responsibilities:
- Ability to calculate material requirements and processing costs for customer quotations
- Supporting the Production and Purchasing team
- Assisting customers with current sales orders
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in the steel industry, engineering, or construction
- Must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings
- AutoCAD experience would be beneficial
- Ability to understand material grades and production methods
- Hold a full UK driving license
Package:-
- £14.00per hour on a temp to perm basis, permanent role after 13 weeks with salary between £27’000-£31’500 depending on experience and performance in the role

Working Hours:-
- Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm with 30 minutes lunch
- Friday 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
