Role Overview – CNC Miller

We are working with a well-established precision engineering company, delivering high-quality components to industries across the UK. With a focus on innovation and craftsmanship, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to program, set, and operate a variety of CNC milling machines. You’ll play a key role in producing precision components to exact specifications, working with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller

  • Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines, including Bridgeport, Beaver, Hardinge, and Hartford models.
  • Use CNC CAM systems and Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mitsubishi controls to produce high-quality components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with general tool room machinery to support production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards.

Key Experience & Qualifications – CNC Miller

Proficient in setting and operating:

  • Bridgeport Interact 4
  • Bridgeport VMC1000
  • Beaver
  • Hardinge VMC1000 MK2
  • Hartford MC2060
  • Bridgeport 1000
  • Experience with 1CNC CAM system.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi controls.
  • Familiarity with general tool room machinery.
  • Current Fork Truck Licence.
