A Manufacturing company in Tiptree are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join them ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. Working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, paying 13.00 per hour depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor stock levels: Re-order when required & flag discrepancies.
  • Coordinating with departments with regards to stock materials ETA's.
  • Monitoring outstanding orders and ensure records match key supplier records.
  • Track and report material liabilities and follow- up actions to ensure aged stock is not built-up.
  • Ensure that all damaged and quarantined stock are credited or replaced by suppliers.
  • Prioritising a fluid workload to ensuring relevant orders are received in full and on time.
  • Support the returns function ensuring all returns are processed and stock control maintained.
  • Maint and developing supplier relationships via phone, email and some supplier visits.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Purchasing Administration role:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing administrator role or similar.
  • Intermediate user of MS Outlook in particular Excel.
  • Good communications and negotiation skills.
  • Ability and desire to progress and train in a procurement role.
  • Maths and English GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent).
