Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
Basic Salary: Up to £36,000
OTE: Up to £40,000
Location: Tiptree, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 (no weekends)

The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy, well-established main car dealership in Tiptree. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable, Monday-Friday role with strong earning potential and a professional workshop environment.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards while delivering a high level of workmanship and customer care.

Key Responsibilities
·Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles
·Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
·Complete repair and service work efficiently and to a high standard
·Follow manufacturer and dealership processes at all times
·Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
·Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
·Provide clear technical feedback and customer advice when required

Skills & Qualifications Required
·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - essential
·Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
·Previous dealership or independent garage experience preferred
·MOT Licence - desirable but not essential
·Own tools and toolbox
·Full UK manual driving licence (licence checks will be carried out)
·Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
