We are working on behalf of a respected accountancy firm in Tiverton to recruit a Senior Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong experience in practice, looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Managing client relationships and providing proactive advice
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and VAT submissions
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
