Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor. The role involves managing workflow, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and leading a team to meet production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities across multiple product lines.
- Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards.
- Train, motivate, and manage production staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
- Achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics.
- Operate and maintain machinery as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing (confectionery experience desirable).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility for shift work if required.
- Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).
