We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our team in Tonbridge. Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Ensure the cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor areas.
- Manage the security of the premises, including opening and closing the building and monitoring security systems.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance or repair work.
- Assist in setting up facilities for events and rearranging furniture as required.
- Respond to emergency situations or breakdowns to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, supplies, and completed works.
- Proven experience as a caretaker or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Good physical condition and strength to handle manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
