This is your chance to oversee all aspects of occupational safety, ensure compliance with legal requirements, shape long-term safety strategies, and cultivate a progressive health and wellbeing ethos across the business.Core Duties:

Developing and implementing robust safety systems and protocols
Conducting in-depth risk assessments and internal audits to align with regulatory obligations
Leading emergency planning and delivering associated staff training
Investigating incidents and driving the implementation of preventative measures
Managing budgets and resources tied to safety-related programmes

The Ideal Candidate:

At least 5 years’ experience in a health and safety capacity, ideally within fast-paced sectors like FMCG or pharmaceuticals
Holds NEBOSH or IOSH certification
Skilled at interpreting data and addressing multifaceted challenges
Capable of influencing teams and embedding safety-first practices
Strong communicator – both written and verbal
Additional qualifications in Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma are a plus
